What are Passes

Wink has two membership types for creators to earn from fans and provide exclusive content and direct messages: Subscriptions as traditional, monthly recurring membership and Passes, a new and unique, permanent premium membership.

• Passes are permanent, tradable, number limited-memberships
• Fans who purchased Passes, may resell them to fellow users
• Creators earn 5% on each resale of their own Passes by fans

Each creator can create several Passes, each with its unique access and unlock levels, with a supply ranging from 1 - 1000

What sets Passes apart from subscriptions

While subscribers are suitable for superficial and temporary relationships, passes reflect a permanent, deep relationship between creator and fan. Both membership types can be offered complementary.

Launching Passes is easy, fast, and free. Ensure signing in, personalizing the profile, and completing the verification process before launching passes. Content from verified creators is highlighted on the main page and Explore.

Here's how to launch Passes:

1. Tap the circular profile icon at the bottom right (skip this step if on desktop)
2. Choose 'Profile' from the navigation bar
3. Click on the key icon to the right of 'Media' on the profile page
4. Select the 'Create Pass' button

5. Customize the Passes:

   • Image: Choose a preset or upload an image
   • Name: Input a unique name. Keep it short and memorable. Max. 32 chars
   • Description: Provide a detailed description of the content the pass unlocks. Max. 240 chars
   • Price: Determine the price and currency for each pass. Set a fair value to reflect the exclusivity of the content. Please note that the selected currency cannot be changed after pass launch.
   • Supply: Set the total number of passes available for purchase. Choose between 1-1000 to maintain exclusivity
6. Once ready, read and accept 'Terms of Service' below Supply and select 'Create Pass' to launch the pass

Passes can be edited post-launch if there is an error with the image, picture, or description

Creators will receive earnings from Fans by sale of Passes and secondary trading of the Creators’ Passes on the Platform. Creators earns 80% from the primary sales of Passes and 5% commission on every resale of their own Passes by fans on the marketplace.

To post or edit exclusive content, ensure sign-in and passes are launched first. Select the relevant tab to find a guide on how to post, edit, or delete exclusive content on Wink. 

• 1. Draft the post with text and media
  2. Select 'Everyone' left of the 'Post' button
  3. Choose the pass holders from the dropdown menu who can view the content
     Note: One or more Passes can be selected.
  4. Tap on 'Post' to post your exclusive content on Wink
• 1. Select the ellipsis icon at the top right of the post
  2. Select 'Edit' from the dropdown menu to enter edit mode
  3. Entering edit mode allows modification of text, media, and media visibility
  4. To modify media visibility, select 'Pass holders' or, if the content was previously visible to everyone, select 'Everyone', to determine who can view the content.
  5. Upon completion, select 'Save' to save the changes.

After launching passes on Wink, passes can still be edited. While entering pass edit mode allows modification of the name, picture, description, supply, and price: the set currency of the Passes on the initial launch cannot be changed anymore. To edit passes, ensure sign-in and passes are launched first.

2. Choose 'Profile' from the navigation bar
3. Click on the key icon to the right of 'Media' on the profile page
4. Select the 'Edit Pass' button for the intended pass
5. Entering pass edit mode allows modification of the name, picture, description, supply, and price.
6. Following the modification, select 'Edit Pass' in the lower right corner to save the changes.

As soon as users list passes for sale, they will be listed for purchase until an individual purchases them or users choose to delist them. 

1. Navigate to the creator's profile.
2. Select to the 'Passes' tab.
3. Click on the ellipsis next to the pass name intended to be sold.
4. Choose 'Listings' from the dropdown menu.
5. A list of all active listings, including the price requests for the pass offered by other users, will be provided
6. Listings associated with the account will have an additional 'Delist' button.
7. Click on 'Delist' to remove the pass from the marketplace.
   
   

To promote Passes effectively, take into account these tips:

1. Announce Passes on different social media (Twitter etc.) and invite Fans to join the exclusive Passes club
2. Include the Wink Profile link to bios on other social media
3. Enhance Passes by modifying their price, image, quantity, description, etc.
4. Consistently share high-quality content and stay engaged with the community
